Our Materials
Incredible strength and durability meets incredible beauty.
Silestone® is manufactured by Cosentino® the world leader in new worktop and countertop materials design and manufacture. Made of 94% natural quartz and 6% resin, Silestone looks and feels like granite, though as a manufactured product, is far more durable and consistent.
Silestone has a non-porous surface and is highly resistant to common stains such as coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar and many other everyday products; as well as having a very high scratch resistance.
Silestone is available in a growing range of more than 90 colours and 3 different textures: polished, suede and volcano; ensuring endless possibilities.
This all makes Silestone an excellent choice for new kitchen worktops, bathroom countertops, as well as flooring and wall cladding.
Sensa® is a range of natural granite stone products brought together by Cosentino® under the Sensa brand.
Highly desirable and with unique pattern, the stone is factory treated with Cosentino’s revolutionary penetrating surface treatment to reduce against staining and help maintain its natural colour and beauty.
Granite and natural quartz are inherently resistant to many chemicals, but powerful cleaning agents and abrasive cleaning tools should be avoided as Sensa surfaces should be cleaned using a soft cloth and warm water.
Each Sensa surface's pattern and colour is naturally unique and offers you a range of colours to combine with any decor.
Marble is a beautiful, natural material that adds luxury and elegance to every setting, often best suited to bathrooms.
Marble is a relatively soft and porous surface which can scratch and stain quite easily and needs due care. However, it has been used for millennia in europe and when polished and sealed, is the most beautiful natural material.
However, for the modern stylish busy home, Silston® offers a real alternative with visual equivalence to the natural beauty of Marble, with enhanced durability, practicality and ease of care and suitable for all areas of the home.
Granite is a very hard granular rock formed from volcanos and been used as a building material for millennia.
Every piece of granite is naturally unique in colour and pattern and will not fade in time. You will never find two identical pieces of granite. When cut, polished and properly sealed, granite becomes one of the most durable and popular worktop materials.
Granite is particularly scratch resistant amongst other worktop materials and is easily maintained simply with warm soapy water. Lighter granites can be porous so spillages should not be left to soak in and it is reasonably chemical resistant, but care should be taken to avoid strong acid or alkaline cleaners.
